Marcellus Middle School was built in 1933 and in need of some updates.

BR Johnson partnered with Marvin Windows to replicate the original wood windows that would meet SHPO approval within the schools’ budget. The main concerns the school had was to replicate the pivoting circle units and operation of the large single hung units.

The Lift Lock hardware used was the perfect solution for operating windows when the checkrail is out of reach. The hardware auto-locks the sash when closed, and functions as a convenient lift to raise and lower the sash.
