Johnson Graduate School is located at the Breazzano Family Center in  Ithaca’s Collegetown neighborhood.  This modern 76,000 square foot building is a private facility not owned and operated by Cornell University. It is used for business education and  has many classrooms, breakout rooms, 2 broadcast studios, and a 4 story atrium.

The following products were used:

CR Laurence – B5S10D glass railing system base shoe along with the Taper-Loc system and a GRUC5BS10 railing cap, were used around the main stairwell/atrium in the lobby. The B5 B20 extrusion was used to install smoke baffles at the main stairwell.

Kawneer – TriFab series 451 storefront framing and Series 500 Wide stile doors, were installed throughout the project at the main entrance and the interior office doors.

Syracuse Glass – Provided ½” tempered glass fabricated with holes and cutouts as needed to use in the glass railings and smoke baffles. They also supplied Pyran Platinum F fire rated glass as required.

JE Berkowitz – Provided 13/16” thick tempered laminated glass sidelights at all the offices and public rooms on the interior of the building. This glass was oversized and special ordered to meet the width and height requirements required by the Architect. They also provided the accompanying stainless steel extrusion used as the head and sill track for these glass sidelights
