There was quite the mix of products on this project. The Kalwall translucent panel system was installed in the clerestory of the gymnasium. EFCO SX45 horizontal slider and FX45 fixed windows were used at new window openings. At the main entrance and second story of the Cafeteria, EFCO 5900 and 5600 series curtain wall were installed. EFCO vertical sunshades are installed on the large East wall of the Cafeteria to help with daylight control. At the remaining new aluminum entrances, EFCO S433 storefront framing is used for the door frames, sidelites and transoms. New aluminum entrances are the SL-15 model provided by Special-Lite. In new entrance doors and throughout the building in classroom and office doors, Armoured One glass products were used. AOTSG1-IGU is an insulated glass unit incorporating Armoured One impact resistant laminated glass and is installed in aluminum doors and sidelites to provide protection and thermal performance. AOTSG1016FR-45 and AOTSG616FR-90 are 45 minute and 90 minute rated glazing products from Armoured One that along with providing the stated fire rating also include impact resistant laminate. Other specialty glazing products include Mapes-R insulated panels, Okalux Plus insulated glass with fiber tissue filled airspace, & SN54 low-e coated insulated glass from Syracuse Glass. At the new security vestibules, bullet resistant-glazed transaction windows from Total Security Solutions were installed.
